2 Buck Drunk began November 2005 when 5 old friends came together to form a band once again.  The 5 members had played together 7 years prior in the band Core.  The idea behind 2BD was to play as many classic songs, in as many styles as possible, to as many people as possible.  A night spent at a 2BD show can be expected to be a night full of classic music, good drink, and a hellaciously good time!

2 Buck Drunk started performing local gigs at the beginning of 2006. Since then our band has played classic rock, southern rock, progressive rock and country in numerous venues throughout Missouri and has continued to create a loyal fan base. The Buck Drunk Boys play something for everyone.

We have performed shows with Dr. Hook, Georgia Satellites, Liverpool, The Marshall Tucker Band, Bobby Pinson, 7 Mary 3, Legion, Red Line Chemestry, Saliva, and Blue Oyster Cult. We are the winners of the 2006 Lake of the Ozarks and 2009 MWR Cars & Guitars Battle of the Bands.

As with any band, 2 Buck Drunk has gone through several changes over the course of the years playing together.  Some members have moved on from the band to be able to spend more time with their families. However, they have agreed to fill in with us when the need arises so I don’t believe you have seen the last of these guys.

The most recent change has been the replacement of our bass player. This change has brought us our youngest player yet. At the age of 18, Chase McRoy has brought a level of playing beyond his years.
